Sammy Guevara - AEW Unrivaled Collection Series #4

Sammy Guevara’s first-ever action figure is here with the AEW Unrivaled Collection! This celebrates the first ever match on the premiere episode of AEW Dynamite from October 2, 2019 as Guevara took on Cody Rhodes.

Featuring deluxe articulation highlighting Sammy’s unique look, including his gold and black pants and matching kneepads and boots, all in amazing detail. Included as accessories are Sammy’s black ring jacket, his sunglasses and one of the most famous signs he has used during his ring entrance featuring the words “Hit Me Up”.

In a huge match up to kick off the inaugural AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara took on the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. With Brandi Rhodes in Cody’s corner, Guevara had the deck stacked against him but early in the match when Cody went for a suicide dive, in a dastardly move, Sammy pulled Brandi in the way so she was taken out of the equation. Fans were also steadily on Cody’s side with an audible “Sammy sucks” chant going around the arena. But Cody was having real trouble keeping up with Guevara’s incredible speed. Despite missing moonsault’s, Sammy hit back with a standing shooting star press which Cody barely kicked out of. Cody knew he needed help and after distracting the referee, Brandi re-appeared and hit Guevara with her shoe. After hitting the disaster kick, Cody thought he had the win but Guevara kicked out and after hitting a top role suplex it still wasn’t enough as Guevara kept fighting back. Joining Cody on the top rope, Guevara came alive and hit the top rope Spanish Fly but it was Cody’s time to show his never-say-die attitude kicking out at the count of two. Then, after preparing to finish Cody off with the shooting star press, Cody got his knees up and by the skin of his teeth got the 1-2-3. Despite defeat “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara proved on this night that he belongs with the very best in AEW.

Sammy Guevara is rated by AEW insiders as one of the hottest young talents in wrestling today. One look at his poise, ring acumen and pure athleticism makes this hard to argue. Since his debut in AEW he has impressed fans with not only with his unique high-flying style in the ring but also his unabashed bravado and charisma outside of it. Oozing with movie-star machismo, Sammy is sure to break some hearts and isn’t afraid to take any opportunity to show off his good looks and his in-ring talents. Guevara has taken the fight to many of AEW’s biggest stars and has shown his fighting spirit and willing to take high risks in wars against Matt Hardy, including “The Elite Deletion” match at AEW Full Gear 2020. Guevara hasn’t spent his time in AEW alone though. He was one of the founding members of the villainous group “The Inner Circle” alongside Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Santana and Ortiz. Most famously Guevara and his stable buddies took on “The Elite” at the Stadium Stampede Match at AEW Double or Nothing 2020. Just don’t mention the golf cart!
