WWE Superstars Meet Universal Monsters in Mattel Collaboration

Horror icons and WWE Superstars are set to collide in an exciting new collaboration between Mattel, WWE and Universal, bringing some of the most recognisable characters in horror history together with some of the biggest names in professional wrestling.

The Universal Monsters are a legendary collection of classic horror characters from Universal Pictures, featuring iconic figures such as Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man and the Invisible Man. For this upcoming collaboration, these famous monsters will be reimagined through the lens of WWE, with WWE Superstars taking on the roles of some of horror's most memorable characters.

The initial characters have been announced on 23 July at San Diego Comic-Con, revealing some fascinating Superstar and monster combinations:

• Kevin Owens as Zombie Ed
• Jacob Fatu as the Wolf Man
• CM Punk as Dracula
• John Cena as the Invisible Man
• Kane as Michael Myers

But that's not all. The collaboration with Universal is set to feature even more WWE Superstars alongside iconic horror characters, including Liv Morgan and Chucky in an action figure box set.

The collection is currently scheduled to arrive in 2027 via Mattel, offering fans of both WWE and classic horror a unique opportunity to see their favourite Superstars transformed into legendary characters from the world of monsters.

With more characters expected to be revealed, the WWE and Universal Monsters collaboration is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing crossover collections to come from Mattel.
